5 month pictures

I am a week late, but I took Hannah's 5 month pictures this morning. Here are the ones I took outside. Todd laughed at me last year when I bought this old wash tub at the covered bridge festival. But I told him I wanted it to use for pictures. Now that she is sitting up on her own, I was able to use it.

All Smiles

Hannah has a wonderful personality. She loves to smile and shout with excitment. Miss Sarah and Miss Stephanie at school always comment on how social she is. I think she gets that from her dad, lol!

Playing is hard work

Hannah really enjoys playing with all of her toys. In fact she was having so much fun, she wore herself out and feel asleep.

Just a Swinging

We went next door to visit our cousins, Stella and Melanie. While we were over there we tried out their tree swing for the 1st time. Hannah loved it and Stella and Melanie loved taking turns pushing her. I guess we will be visting Stella and Melanie more often so we can go swinging since we don't have any trees big enough to hang a swing from.

Almost sitting tall

Hannah can sit on her own for 1 to 2 minutes before falling over. She does really good when supported by the bobby pillow.

We survived the 1st week

Last week was my first full week back to work and Hannah's first week at daycare. We both did well. It was so nice having her at Lilly Daycare because I was able to go and see her at lunch. The only thing Hannah is going to have to get use to is taking naps in an environment where there is so much going on. However, by not taking long naps she sleeps all the way home which is nice for me.

First Day of Daycare

Hannah went to daycare for the first time yesterday. She did OK. She was so interested in finding out what was going on, she wouldn't go to sleep. She usually takes 2 naps during day. totally about 4 hours of sleep. She slept a total of 50 minutes yesterday. Good news is, she slept part of the way home. Which was the part I was dreading since she decided she didn't like riding in the car. Thanks to a friend, we are trying a new carseat and it seems to be working. Oh I forgot to mention, I am taking her to the Lilly daycare so if she doesn't like riding in the car I am in for a long long long drive to and from work. Keep your fingers crossed that the new carseat will do the trick.

Mirror Image

When I am getting ready in the morning, I sit Hannah in her Bumbo seat in front of the mirror in the bathroom. As you can see, she really enjoys looking at herself.
