1st Cardinals Game

We took Hannah to her first Cardinals game on Aug. 30th. She did really well at the game. We got seats in one of the suites so that we would have indoor and outdoor seating. This also allowed Hannah to run around more since we were confined to our own little area. We will be getting these seats for the next few years because it makes handling a little one a lot easier. Oh, I also forgot to mention that the suite included all you could eat and drink. We had a great day at the ballpark.

Hannah in front of the Ozzie Smith statue. I plan to take her picture in front of this statue every year.

Fun at Deming Park

We went to Deming Park on Aug. 23rd and Hannah had a blast playing. She even decided to climb up this structure attached to the playground.

Flash Back

My mom was going through some old things and she found a picture of me and her when I was between 12 and 18 months. I have noticed that my mom didn't put dates or ages on any of my baby pics so we now have to guess. The resemblance between me and Hannah is pretty scary. Let me know what you think.

New set of wheels

Hannah got her first car today. I found this great bargain on Craigslist for only $30. I did however, have to go to Noblesville to get it. It was too good of a deal to pass up. She loved getting in and out of it all day. She is starting to understand that you have to push the pedal to make it go. Her favorite part is the radio. It plays music and she can't get enough of it. She presses the button over and over again.

Brush Brush

Hannah is all about brushing her teeth, or maybe just sucking the toothpaste off the toothbrush. Either way, she is getting the right idea of brushing her teeth. Any time she sees me brushing my teeth, she has to have her tooth brush also. Her doctor mentioned that I should take her to see the Dentist at 18 months. I have yet to schedule the appointment. I wonder what they actually do at the Dentist for an 18 month old. Is it a ploy for more money??? So, I am still debating on the 18 month visit. I usually go by the text book, but I may bypass this one until she is a tad bit older.

Also for those wondering after seeing this picture. I do not intend on cutting Hannah's hair. I know that the bangs in the eyes are annoying but we try to keep it pulled back when Hannah cooperates.

Fun with old friends

Last Thursday, I took a vacation day in order to meet my girls from ISU. We had great weather for our picnic. We all had a great day.

My little artist

Hannah is all into drawing on paper with anything she can find. Well this past Wednesday she happened to find a stash of permanent markers that Todd had in his nightstand. Before I knew it, she had drawn all over herself. I was a little frustrated because she had ruined one of her outfits, but thankfully it was one of her play outfits. Then later that night, I realized she had also decided to draw on the wall in the hallway. Thanks to Mr. Clean Magic Erasers, I was able to get the marker off the walls. I was afraid I was going to have to repaint. Still haven't found a way to get it out of her outfit. I am thinking about trying the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on it. Wish me luck!
